Leila-Mari Ryynänen and Vesa Sironen have been appointed as the new board members of Mapita, the company that develops Maptionnaire Citizen Engagement Platform.
Leila-Mari has been working in international business for over 30 years. At Mapita’s board, she'll be focusing on international growth and funding. Vesa’s expertise lies in working with companies in the SaaS (Software as a Service) industry.
Mapita has been doing a great job with the Maptionnaire software for ten years. The service is what modern cities need in order to keep up with the changes. I’m excited about the future for both the Maptionnaire platform and the entire Mapita team.
“The company is at an interesting inflection point. The new version of Maptionnaire has been launched, and customers love it. Now it’s time to take the next step. I strongly echo the sentiment that cities and citizens deserve a better way to develop their environment. That’s where Maptionnaire comes in,” adds Vesa.
“I’m excited that Leila-Mari and Vesa have joined our board of directors. They bring a welcomed addition to the team with both of them having extensive knowledge of how a company like ours can grow in a healthy way. We want to make Maptionnaire a truly global service because we believe it will help cities and companies all over the world in their engagement efforts. Better engagement leads to better cities, that’s our strong belief,” comments Maarit Kahila, CEO of Maptionnaire.
